a quick add up made the parts £2500, but no labour charges and the ported head was free (they normally cost £1000)
a quick garage estimate would be £5000- £6000 :shock:
I got about £3k yesterday when I added up the parts, assuming £1.5k for a 4-2-1 mani, sport cat and backbox,
I think that £5k-6k abit over the top as you don't really need the steel rods for less than 250 bhp. other than that it's essentially:
Courtenay Stg 5 (£3600 fitted)
- Miltek down pipe
- 4-2-1 mani
- 2.4 mani and TB
- SC injectors
- Waisted valves.
So depending on the cost of a custom 4-2-1 and sport cat, I reckon you could put it together for just over £4k, as the labour over the CS5 is going to be negligable as top end already has to be stripped and rebuilt.
