Little update and some pics of the work on the head.
Inlet manifold with new gaskets fitted
One freshly skimmed cylinder head
2 of the 8 new valve guides that I had fitted
7 down 9 to go, owww my hands hurt!!
1 valve refitted!
More valves refitted
Trying to keep my temporary 'project' workbench from getting too messy!
All of the valves refitted and leak tested - bang on, not a single leak!!
Getting the gasket surface ready
Trial fitted the gasket (I'm going to clean the piston crowns up more though, last time I'll ever see them hopefully!)
I was hoping to fit the head last night but it was absolutely sheeting it down, couldn't be bothered to put the car back on the ground just to push it into the garage. Hopefully it'll go on tonight though.
