Serious query about this.
Having done my 4bar fuel feed the other week and done around 450 miles so ECU set, i have really and i do mean really had to pussy foot it to return 31 mpg as against giving it some and still averaging 36 mpg.
Even had better economy on 4th than 5th.
True it did pick up better up to 2.5k revs then practically died in comprison, almost like putting the cone back in the air filter box.
Earlier put some 3mm I/D silicon tubing £3 delivered 1m length, back to the standard layout.
Initial impressions but will give an accurate find in 5 days time were almost as good pick up but the main thing it didnt die after 2.5k revs, this time tailed off around 4.5k revs.
One other thing economy, although an instant economy reading is generally reading 12 mpg more than modified. I would expect +8/9 mpg driving the same way but wont do it this coming week.
To get anything accurate town use should be avoided and as much like for like before and after for comparison. I do 69 mile a day on A, B, motorway and unamed roads, of which only 2 miles is town centre but moving.
Anyone else found similar?
