clutch and air con problem

thanks for letting me know that it is the 2nd from bottom.

Is there anyway to test it out and also maybe swop one over to check this is the fault?

Also if i went to get one from vauxhall any idea of the cost? Or do i have to go to vauxhall to get it?

Am sure we will get to the end of this :-)

not sure tbh, my air con hasn't worked for a while. had it gassed but still wouldn't work. i took it to 3 different places but nobody managed to sort it.

been thinking about getting a specialist to look at it but not sure about the cost.

forget the haynes manual wiring rubbish :roll:

I have a single sensor just below the rad, near the sump

cheers for that Neil, can it be seen from the top or do you need to go underneath?

easily visable from above, just lean over the rad and look down just below the oil filter 🙂

mine has three wires: brown, red/white and another :lol:

hi all again. still not much luck really.

Am have called vauxhall and they want £89.00 to take a look. :-(

Does anyone know if there are any sites where i can get some more pic's from?

hi all, still on the subject of my air con. at last i have found the fault. Got a guy to check the whole system and said he would chage me if he got it fixed. he checked out the lot and now the problem is the air con COMPRESSOR.

Going to cost £££ so looking for a 2nd hand one or re con one. anyone got any ideas if it is easy ish to change and also just to let you know got my clutch price at £500.00 :-)

As for the clutch, my slave cylinder went maing the clutch useless. I had to replace the clutch sue to fluid leaking over the plates but would have been silly not too anyway. The new clutch and slave cost about £500, not too long ago.

good to hear that £500 is about the right price and that was including the slave too :-)

Re the condener i might take it off once i found a cheap one to replace it with. Anyone know where to get one?
