Astra-Badlad like alan says try them products bu hand which will help but, to get a nearly swirl free car you need to get it machine polished. Or you may be at at it for weeks trying to remove defects by hand.
Johnny, silver is a nightmare to get a real glossy \ wet finish buty the best product i have tried is OCW wax.
