Jamee Tried meguirs and ...wow, used the 3 stage stuff, and the polish is soo much easier than autoglym, no white powder, just a deep shine, and the wax is awesome stuff...have a look.. Oh and what you think of the new plates???? Look at the refection!!!
Daz U seem as impressed as i was the 1st time i used megs.....dont think i will be using any other polish again....that road looks familiar....is that the road that leads from pontymister down to risca....
Daz Will do m8....gonna be popping up to risca to a place that does powder coating to get some prices....
Jamee give us a mail before you come up and ill mett you there. [jamee.davies@homecall.co.uk](mailto:jamee.davies@homecall.co.uk)
Sjdickso Looking well Jamee, great clarity and reflections. i also love megs stuff really easy to use. If you are into car cleaning and next time you need to buy some wax try poorboys Nattys Blue on top of stage 2 its fantastic. Heres a link. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... otect.html
Andy that looks mint 😃 i have recently started to use meguiars after using autoglym for years and i'd never go back to it now. i get much better results with the meguiars and there's no dust when polishing.

Sjdickso Carl NXT tech wax is good but contains slight abbrasives so it will remove some of your stage 2 or #7 show glaze same product. May i ask why you dont mix brands i (somtimes) find i get better results using a mix of products rather then just one brand. As long as you apply the steps correctly you should not have a issue at all. (polish / glaze / seal / wax )
Europa_Blue_SE1 Looks excellent Jamee love that reflection shot... Must admit Si I totally agree I can't see any reason not to mix products the first time I done the megs quick clay and 3 steps after quick claying I used CarPlan Mettalic T-Cut after step 1 and I got the best result I've ever had before not using the T-Cut also sometimes if I don't have Nxt Gen Shampoo I'll use the CarPlan shampoo and Conditioner as you said as long as all the steps are done properly buffed off right etc it shouldn't make a difference at all... By the way Si where can I get some of that Polished Bliss stuff do I need to get it off the web or will my accesory shop stock it? Just I'm dying to use some of their stuff the results look excellent!
Sjdickso Not many off the street places sell it, www.polishedbliss.co.uk and www.cleanandshiney.co.uk are the main places i get it from. Normally next day delivery. If you want i can bring a small selection of stuff down to PV for you to try before you buy if you like?
Europa_Blue_SE1 Yea Si that would be cool mate cheers.. think I'll order some when I get home from the show after a wee try of it... 😃 I was in a VXL Dealer the other day there and I was looking at there some of their car cleaning products looking at some of their waxes Silver £69 Gold £80 and their Platinum wax was £110 and the size of the tubs were not that big mibbe the size of a tub of megs Metal Cleaner  it must give some shine and protection I've seen pricey products but £110 and it wasn't 100% carnuba think it was about 80% or there about but no way would I pay that kind off money for a wax  See ye at the show mate again thanks for that matey... cheers.. Alan
Sjdickso No worries Alan, I have tried many waxes’s over the years, from budget unbranded stuff to Zymol wax’s at £100+. Like you I could not see that much of a difference to warrant the price difference. See at the show!

As long as you apply the steps correctly you should not have a issue at all. (polish / glaze / seal / wax ) i don't no why ever one tells me that but i have used megs for 4 years and never found any problems my car has not been cleaned in 4 weeks but still looks great still repels the water and dirt i tried tech wax with autoglym extra gloss protection on top what a pain in the ass it was like trying to get rubber off the paint it had dark and light patches in the paint in the end i had to jet wash the car again and start all over to me hours to get it to look nice had the same trouble with cherry glaze on top of tech wax but was easier to get back to a good shine some one told me to use gold class on top but that left swirl marks on the paint and you could see where i had polished it atm i have found a good combination all meg clay-stage 1-stage 2-tech wax-speed detailer-glass cleaner and metal polish there is only one product i use on my car that's not meg and that's autosmarts finish i jet wash the engine let it dry and lace the whole bay with it leaves a great shine but after a few weeks you have to wipe the dust off the engine cover
Europa_Blue_SE1 WOW lovely bay mate GLEAMING drool.gif how do you use it do you clean and dry the engine then spray on or do you spray on then clean and dry? Wouldn't mind some of that a better shine from that than the plastic rubber megs stuff I use to clean the bay... So it's called AutoSmarts Finish? Think I'll pop along to my local accesory shop and get some! As I said so just look for that name mate? cheers.. Alan
ASTRA2_2BADLAD Hi all just a question seen as everyone talking bout polish! How can i get rid of al the swirl marks you can only see them in direct sunlight n it looks shit, but really mint otherwise!! dunno..
