Looking good daz can't beleive how fast this has come on>

quick question could you not have just welded the cav and corsa shafts together that may have saved you buying the hub kit (god I am tight :lol: )? Just i know what it's like having 2 cars not knowing which one to spend the money on first just wondered for future referance.

when I fitted a 1.8 16v engine into a corsa I had a pair of driveshafts specially made 8)

one end F16 cv, the other end 1.4 corsa cv 😃

Am I lazy or what :lol:

the corsa was quite new and I didn't want to ruin anything :roll:

I did think of chopping the 2 shafts but dedcied against it as the corsa shaft is alot thinner than the cavvy one...
Staryed on bit a again 2nite,fitted my modified shaft and fitted the hub and long shaft the other side,fitted the discs caliper etc,,,filled up the gearbox and IT DRIVES...just a little tweak on the gear selector and all will be fine..will upload some pics l8r on..

might be an idea to keep a spare shortened driveshaft, just incase it ever snaps 🙂

Its still got the one that i botched on there tim,,,seen a nice remus at pvs today but las didnt have enuff cash on me.

Not alot done this week as i've been off work...but went up today and fitted one of my old cavvy commander wheels....but i'm not quite sure if i like em...

they suit it well, might need a repaint and centre caps though 🙂

Repaint def on the cards if they stay..colour?....think i got the centre caps too....they been at my mums since 1992 gathering dust..

Not been doin much to the corsa of late as cash has been a bit thin,but made a start on the bodywork today,also ordered my suspension...

Bonnet had quite a few stone chips at the front..trying not to put filler on the car if i can help it,so whacked a few coats of high build primer on there..

It's getting there Daz mate, keep at it. I know cash can slow things down abit, as I have been in the same boat lol. I can't wait to see it finished 🙂
