Dippy Its not really that i wouldnt advise it but its more of its only a look thing, theres not really any benefit otherwise.

Daz Well thats me 187 quid lighter.....just ordered my hubs/engine mtg/driveshaft seals/and a nice selection of stainless allen bolts in various sizes...but still under budget....just new discs and pads/wheel bearings and headset and sump gasket to get...
Daz A bit more progress 2day....fed up of waiting for our engine stand to reappear so made a start on the engine... Think it had a bit of an oil leak.. Sump off CAmbelt and water pump removed Cam and head removed After abit of a spruce up. My box of bit i took off the engine Taking over the garage slowly Next on the list is rebuild her....
Daz He's quite kool about it andy,,as long as it dont interfere with my work and it all left tidy he dont mind....
Andy your quite lucky really as not all bosses are like that. he did seem quite tidy when he turned up when you were doing my chains.
Daz A bit more progress today,cleaned afew other engine bits up ,painted the sump and fitted new big end bearings,My new driveshaft seals came 2day so fitted them too,,headset,sump gasket and some crank oil seals coming 2morow so can start building it back up..
Daz More progress and the engine today..All my gaskets turned up...so set about putting it back together.. just the cam belt and clutch to go then she can go in...
