Im not sure aobut tig welding, as I discovered on here they snap often due to the fact that vauxhall did not put a bracket on too hold it in place. This was a recall, so the work should be done for free. Mine has broken too, Im leaving my pipe dangling down when they do it hoping that they will fix or replace the pipe as the reason its broke is due to the recall !! They better had anyway, if not I have a replacement pipe that i purchase for £20. :razz: Hope this helps, try ringing Vaux customer services.
