I'm not so sure about throttle bodies anymore :?

they are best for high revving engines and I don't want to go above 7250 MAX, ideally 7000rpm.

It's your fault alanoo for showing me the 2.4 inlet manifold :lol:

I now believe my goal is achievable with the 2.4 inlet, 68mm tb and the 310cc injectors. It's just the ecu which cannot supply enough fuel :roll:

you cloud always try the 310cc injectors with 68mm TB and stock ECU

With a lot of chance, the increase in air supply provided with the 68 tb and 2.4 manifold will lead in a perfect AFR using the 310cc injectors with stock timings 😃

(and if it works, i suggest you get some lottery tickets).

Ah, just a thing, you will use 310cc injectors from the SC engine ? I wasn't sure they were the same type as our OEM ones, so you confirm this ? notsure.gif

injectors are the same body and plug, just 310cc instead of 252cc 😃

I'm hoping you are right about the idea of more air, more fuel and the stock ecu.

if it works it will be nice, very nice :lol:

Hmm, that could be an interesting experiment. With the same dutycylce the larger capacity injectors will probably inject too much fuel. But with the engine in closed loop it should compensate for that pretty quickly. The problem might be that it will go over the threshold of what is allowable by the ECU for fuel trim. On the other hand, with all the mods you have done already, it is probably at the top side of fuel trim, so trimming down might not be such a large issue 🙂

Then again, I'm no ECU expert...

the ecu will adjust fuelling via the lambda sensor [keeping the mixture correct], so with the extra air entering the engine the ecu has got to raise the fuel levels [ecu can adjust up to a maximum of 20%], so by fitting 20% bigger injectors it could be back at the start of adjustment notsure.gif
