Anyways bit of an update;
Fitted the power steering and after 2 days took it straight out again. Just wasnt for me, i lost the feel that i liked with the car, if it were an everyday motor it would have stayed.
Im in the process of trying to sort the n/s/f chassis rail at the mo, its twisted from a handbrake turn that went wrong years ago. Its still a little twisted after having it sort some time ago and is holding the suspension up on the n/s and creating such a noise when the face of the rubber on the lower arm and rail becomes dry.
In addition to this i want a set of coilovers, or at least front, to get it down lower for a bit more traction. Would like a complete set, but not bothered if i can source just the fronts as i quite like a slightly soft setting on the rear.
Also i thinking of a style change for next years PVS. For 2 years running now its looked almost the same, i want to attracted at least a bit of attention at the shows. So, im might be going for Mk2 style front end with GSi front bumper and mk2 rear bumper all smoothed out to complement the arches, the rounded louvers and the soft spoiler, plus cav GSi slab alloys diamond cut. Should look smart but still at the should i, shouldn't i stage.
