It depends really i would only do the step one maybe twice a year. But you can do step 2 and three as regular as you like. The only issue is if you keep doing step two and then three you are going to undo some of your previous work.
Say you wash your car one week then do step two then three. Then you do the following x2 weeks later you are removing your step three (wax) by using the step 2.
The Idea is to build up the Wax levels on your car. So by doing step three or a nice nuba wax on a regular basis will just keep enhancing your wetness look to your paint.
I also wash my water magnet after each use as long as you dont use fabric softner. I wash my applicaton pads by hand in warm water with a drop of fairy liquid to help clean the pad from the wax \ polish. Make sure you rinse the pad well then i leave it to dry naturally or on a rad over night.
