Throttle Bodies for the 2.2 soon..

I have been informed a company is working on a Throttle Bodie for the z22se engine. I have a pictures here below. I am not sure how much they will cost yet but I will keep you up to date as they are still being tested out.

Not sure on a price for it yet, it's still being tested now, but he did say the picture I showed was the first set 🙂

the way the 2.2 engine sits means its crying out for throttle bodies.. 4 throttle bodies sucking away behind the grill... prefect!

the old cav touring cars, used to have there redtop engine span round so inlet was at the front, with a set of throttle bodies added also!

problem with the existing one is it is a sealed unit and it cant be stripped down without shagging the unit!!!!
which is why it has taken so long to develop it

Tell you What......when we release the TB kits ( three stages) and Courtenay release the stage SC kits I'm happpy to get a magazine to do a head to head with all the cars and come up with a conclusion - good idea?

Pity for us astra owners....
I seriously doubt they will squeeze them between the engine and the slam panel! :cry:

Probably not, I know they are making about 3 versions of this kit, so they may make a smaller kind for the space others only have at the front what.. 🙂

the vx220 has very little room for the throttle bodies, so they should fit the astra + vectra better

Awaiting replacement exhaust manifolds.
