Hi all just thought Id share a little bit of car care that I use. Cheap as mouldy chips and easy as hell.
Ingredients:
2 x Squirty Plastic Bottles (with spray function nozzle)
1 x Bottle Of Stardrops (available from asda etc cost 69p)
1 x Bucket
1 x Car Sponge
1 x E-Cloth ( advanced micro fibre thing cost £4.99)
1 x Soft Cloth
Method:
In one of the squirty bottles put some stardrops about one 8th of the volume of the suirty bottle and fill remainder with lukewarm water then shake.
In the second squirty bottle completely fill with cold water.
In the bucket use one 3rd of the remaining stardrops as your car shampoo.
Fill remainder with warm water.
step 1:
Use the first bottle with mixture of stardrops and water and spray all over your car including your alloy wheels.
step 2:
Wash your car as normal with the sponge and bucket (always leave the wheels and door bottoms til last)
step 3:
Rinse with cold water via bucket or hosepipe.
Step 4:
Lightly dry the bodywork of the car with the soft cloth (dont try to completely dry immediately and dont worry about the glass)
Step 5:
Your glass has probably got streaks on it now so....
Working one window at a time....Take the second squirty bottle with cold water in it and spray a little water on the glass (inside and out) and polish off immediately with the ECloth.
Step 6:
Gently polish the bodywork using the squirty bottle of cold water and the ECloth to remove any streaks.
Step 7:
Your Alloys will only need a little spray of cold water from the squirty bottle and a light polish with the soft cloth. (do not use the ECloth on your alloys at any time!!!)
End Result:
ONE FANTASTIC LOOKING CAR ON THE CHEAP!!!!
And enough stardrops left for another 2 washes.
showo..
