Matt Yeah, as Vocky said, the virus will have added itself to the startup config, which you can edit with msconfig. Failing that, try booting the PC in Safe Mode, and try it from there.
DBcoup mark save yourself some time and just reinstall coz it looks like b.exe is disguised as many things worm,spyware,keylogger e.c.t. at least then you will have the piece of mind that its totally removed, also 1 thing to note depending on what exactly you have it may have altered some registry settings and could cause future problems even if you locate and delete it. imo

One thing to remember, BACK UP all the documents you need first!
vocky personally I would start with 'W' and then numbers 2, 5, 8 just re-apply the ones which didn't switch off the virus start up, you will get there in the end

vocky glad you got it sorted, there appeared to be a fair amount of junk in the 'startup' box notsure.gif so should be quicker 🙂

Daz i use giganews mark...as well as my ftp... Costs £15 a month...well worth it as u dont get viri...
