Andy to be honest i've not heard of that many major issues with the z22se engine. i've had mine for over 2 years now and its been fine. i think as long as you service it regular you'll be fine.
JohnnyN I believe so mate. I've not really heard of anything else to worry about. I had a look at someones AutoData technical data at the weekend and it lists the cam chain problem as the only known fault/problem.
vocky the two main problems on the z22se are, cam chain oil jet blocking on the old type oil chain kit conrods snapping due to running with a low oil level
