When i bought the vectra 2 years ago i had no intention of fitting any ICE, was gonna leave it standard. I soon got fed up of the standard crap so asked on a few forums and a lot of people recommended MTX and was led to believe it was good stuff.
It resulted in me buying the following MTX stuff,
MTX Thunder 202 amp
MTX Thunder 311D mono amp
MTX Thunder 4122 amp
2 x MTX Thnunder 5500 subs
and it cost me in excess of £1200.
About 2 months after having it fitted the 311D amp that powers my subs became faulty and started blowing fuses so i had it exchanged under warranty. Then a couple of months back one of my subs stopped working which cost me £130 to get it replaced. Now the 311D amp is fooked again!!!! Was driving along and the bass stopped and could smell burning. Pulled up and checked the amp but it won't power up at all.
I've bought cheaper manufacturers in the past and had no problems, i bought 2 sony xplod subs about 6 - 7 years ago and plenty of people told me they were crap yet they are still banging the bass out in the boot of my mates car.
I'm really p*ssed off now as its all out of warranty so i either need to get my amp repaired or buy a new one, both of which i can't afford to do this side of xmas so i now have to drive around with no bass.
