I use one for my job (vec C), wife uses one (vec B) and then my toy (vx220)

my new exhaust flexi's and bends arrived today, so should be able to knock up the new downpipe when I get time 🙂

I intended to take 18 months to restore my vx - 18 weeks seems more like it :shock:

As for another........I may be busy........... driving my little vx ohyeah.gif

my new rear diffuser arrived from france today 😃

this is what it will look like fitted....

spent today making the new exhaust system

removed the standard item

fitted the 4-2 section

started making the 2-1 section, welded on the flexi's to the flange

fitted the new backbox, modified the cat flange to 3 bolt

welded the bends to the flexi's

welded the 'Y' piece on

not quite finished it, but should be done over the weekend 🙂

don't think the customers would be happy when I say ' that's enough for now, I will continue when I can be bothered' pmsl..

finally finished the downpipe/cat section 😃

just need to get some new gaskets, plus I have still to remove the lambda sensors from the old exhaust - I hope they don't put up a fight :roll:

well both lambda sensors came undone with very little effort :shock:

so fitted them and the downpipe, started her up and gave it a little rev..............sounds quite nice, if a little quiet, that will change when the head and cams get fitted :lol:

it took an easy weekend to fit it to my vx220 😃

it took a hard weeks work to make it fit my vec :shock:

finally got my rear clam back from the bodyshop 😃

a big thank you to Elite Car Body Milton Keynes for the excellent paintwork 😃

they are vx220 specialists, so I was happy to let them loose on my clams :lol:

now I can strip the rearend off my vx :shock:
