well the Davies Craig water pump and controller have been installed, I mounted the controller behind the passenger seat.
With this set up the thermostat gets removed (quite annoying as I only replaced it a few weeks ago), the way the set up works is the pump is switched on/off for short periods and the voltage is also regulated, this allows the engine to warm up and reach operating temperature. At this point the pump is running all the time and the voltage is adjusted to maintain the correct engine temperature. It can also control the radiator fan, mine is currently controlled by an independent fan controller so not sure if I will wire the D/Craig to control the fan as well. I can set the seperate fan controller to come on when the D/Craig would switch the fan on, so unsure what to do at the moment. I suppose I will end up removing the seperate fan controller to save a little weight 😃
