Looking good. Im dying to make my own manifold but cant get a manifold flange from anywhere dunno..

Did you flare the ends of the pipe to get a bit of overlap or is that just the picture?

I used my old weaponR flange and the pic just makes the ends look weird :crazy:

is it like the blanking plate for the left outlet that we've seen usa pics of before... but wanting to retain the heater?
then you can extend the main pipe that goes under the exh manifold and put the pump further back in the line

yes it's the heater outlet and ecu temp sensor section of the thermostat housing, located to the left of the exhaust :thumbup:

I will be removing the entire mechanical water pump and pipework, the new ewp will be fitted somewhere near the gearbox with the pump outlet connecting (via a pipe) to a new blanking plate/pipe fitting on the block, a remote thermostat housing or an ewp controller will be used - not sure which yet.

So that's basically a stand alone water pump system?

and made a start on the 'twin cat' section, spot the nice saab sump 8)

update:
the 'twin cat' section is almost finished, bit of a nightmare trying to get everything to fit :crazy:

just the connecting pipe from the 2-1 connector and backbox to do, so hopefully get that done over the weekend 😃

I wasn't happy with one part of the 'twin cat' section, so I cut it out and made another bit, much happier now 😃

and it's finally complete, even fitted a 'mapping' lambda boss :clap:

I cannot fit the new exhaust just yet, the coolant system mods need to be done before fitting the manifold

And would it not be possible to put an extra silencer part in that straight tube?
