Yep still running. Timing has not jumped at all.

This looks much better.
Waiting for a couple of seals to close sump and timing cover up. Should be able to start the car tomorrow.
Just need to do a cv boot, brake reservoir, all cooling hoses and fill all fluids.

bugger. rocker cover gasket is for the metal cover and the only spare covers i have are all plastic.

just about everything i touch on this convertible needs replacing or fixing.
new starter motor on today old one has a hole in it.
dipstick tube is damaged so another one was put in.
radiator is damaged so new one ordered today
reobar is damaged.
aircon missing a pipe.

having a lot of fun with this car (n)

can't wait to get it on the road eventually.

tomorrows job.

radiator install
front shocks and brakes install
front cv install
try source another front crank seal
hopefully close it all up and start it.

Was making a bit of a whine but that's about it. Most would of kept driving it not even thinking something was wrong.

Cleaning it up was a huge job. Bits of plastic and metal everywhere.

Fluids going in tomorrow. Lots done today though.
I'm not kidding when I say everything I touch needed some form of work done. Nothing was as it should be.

New builds and plaster board walls! Simple job to fit a blind, marked up and drilled pilot hole straight into a void then metal, measured the void and thought a could use mungos "plasterboard fixings" as soon as I tightened then pop the plasterbaord burst, so now have one side with one large hole started on other side. Pretty much the same happened.

Needles to say I spat my dummy out, filled in the holes and chucked the made to fit blind. Looks like I will be sanding and painting tomorrow.

That's one of the issues with new builds. I've seen it in most new builds where the plaster board comes away from the skirting on just about all stair ways as well after the first couple of years.

We have only been in a year and we had to have the stair cases all redone, luckily enough the skirting is on brick and the boards start above but there was a decent gap between them the with shrinking it kept cracking so I pulled all the old gap filler out and started again, that was about a month ago

Woke up this morning with a very sore left shoulder, but I still have the blind so it my be round two today, now I am in a better mood.
