Ok so got some new vxr brakes, the disc on right I sanded

Sanded both discs the popped them in the blaster for a bit

I've still got some things to source, so I'm not sure at the mo 🙂

Stripped calipers and stuck them in the strip tank and then in the shot blaster.
Taped them up with heatproof tape ready for oven.

A coat of high flow grey powder primer so as not to get too much build.

Based them up in the same colour as car but with a bit of silver sparkle added

I'm very unfamiliar with the Saab 9-3 s that have the correct engine to use parts with the z22se, I no it's the b207 and b207r and I'm looking at a donor car but I'm not sure if all the
2ltr turbos where the same as I'm looking at a car but from the pics I'm unsure if it is correct as the engine is tho opposite way round in this car
its a 2ltr turbo 9-3 se 185 bhp
If this is not correct which model and years etc should I be looking at cheers.

Ok mate there yours if I can find one (y) I can see loads of saabs for sale but no pics of engine bay so finding it hard to no what's what.

A mates selling a tidy black 2005 aero b207r for about 900quid.

Was looking for a write off really something cheap as I only want a few bits from it, may end up looking at something with a net engine if there more common, I want the head and sump for my supercharged build and I want the turbo inter cooler etc for another project

Theres the b207L aswell which would have them parts you want. Al talk to my mate danny. He will be able to tell me what they came in. Al be back .

All have the same head, sump and intercooler setup i believe but dont quote me on that. I will find out for you. I think its just cam, turbo n injectors that are different

Right im told that the basic engine is the same on all the above.

just different cams n diffs n turbos etc( bits that dont matter much to you)

Theres a arc which is a 207e which is 150bhp
the 207L Which is a z20net found in 9-3 vector

and 207r in the aero 210bhp.

Hope that helps n widens the search abit for you
