chribo I knew this problem too. After i assambled a new block a few days later i only could move the crank hard. After the first movement it went well. Now i try to set the Pistons not to top Position so the crank isnt strigt at the moment of the first move. I think this is a kind of adhesion from the oil and the strong fittig of the pistonrings.
Marty64 Yes Chribo, I have to apply a 150NM on my wrench at the first movement, after that the crank turning well. I hope than starter will accept to give a 150NM for the first movement.
Marty64 As the VX220 is arrived : i've take a look around the engine and saw that the bottom bloc isn't the same that my spare astra bloc engine (the oil filter housing is different with 2 hoses on vx): Do you think i'll can use my astra engine on the vx220 and continue using this oil cooler hoses upper the oil filter ?
dewismotorsport I have retro fitted one to my Astra, you need to use the spring loaded pressure relief valve that sits inside the oil filter housing on the block, the sandwich plate and the alloy oil filter cover. I took the feed off the block and extended the wires for the pressure sensor and fitted it into the sandwich plate.

Thank's Dewis, If i understood corectly: i will take parts you mentioned from my vx220 engine to put them on my spare astra engine. And on spare astra engine : block the hole of the old oil sensor location with a screw.

You need to use the astras original sensor location as your oil feed for the cooler, it then returns to the sandwich plate

Marty64 Yeah ! Cylinder head returned from machining shop. Valve seats rebored +0.5mm . Shoper doesn't wan't to try +1mm : too much risk with lake of space. Soo, intake/exhaust valves are Supertech +0.5mm Resurfacing too and sealing test. It means reassembly will begin soon : YES 😃
