Glued and tight fit, 2 big poles like broom sticks, put them just under the gear knob and strap them together so they cant slip past the knob, I used luggage straps(wilkos about 2quid)
Heavy towel over the top so it doesnt go through the windscreen
2 people lift n it just pops off.
