So because im dence and dont read n look at clear instructions...

Im thinking of the water pipes(still)

What about feed comes from front and round the side of the engine and returns to the expansion bottle maybe a T into the existing pipe.

or do I get the weld on fitting and send my spare thermostat housing upto @[deleted]😉

Been up to the donor car tonight n got the inlet manifold, ecu, throttle body and wiring loom.

so I have all the parts off the donor I need(I think)

So while I was there I got the head off to access the damage.

as you can see all 16 valves are mashed.

I was thinking of you when I got it off.

but more of seeing how much to fit new valve guides n new valves n polishing n porting but not sure what to do with it yet.

This came out of the head, the threads are fine but it was finger tight.

Dave it's not that far to be honest. Was only about 170 miles from me so a nice run. Finding it when you get there is a different matter, lol, my sat nav told me the wrong side of the road.

I have a trick for finding houses, when I deliver bouncy castle n they live on some country lane or farm I ask them to put a balloon on the gate.

al send carl a pm in a minute see if hes got any balloons hahaha

Got a few parts today in the post.

2 m12x 1.5 an10 fittings
1 for the bottom of the water pump for water feed
1 for the cradle for oil return

and 1 weld on alloy An10 fitting to go on the back of the spare SE thermostat housing which will be in the post tomorrow for @[deleted] 😉 cheers mate.

Grrrrrrrr iv just broke my spare thermostat housing.
@[deleted] could this be repaired while your doing the fitting? Or does it matter?

its where the pipe locates. FFS.

i was thinking right on the back of the thermostat housing next to the part number for the AN10 fitting

Looks like it might be salvageable, can you take a less zoomed in picture so I can see location?
