I think so yeah I'm thinking of a colour change there seems to be a lot of red van appearing since I've had mine

yeah true I wouldn't mind a colour change though tbh I know it's not Vauxhall but Renault do a gorgeous cherry red on the new clio the shine is so deep too

That's my choice atm lol
I know I dunno what to do tbh I try to be different then about ten vans get sprayed red and look identical to mine lol that's the trouble with vauxhalls never original for long lol

Right jist had a great chat with mario who beat me to it.......

but its a net engine with se crank and 2.2 forged con rods and pistons without a map and it runs n goes really well he says ohhhh n polished n ported head etc etc.

sooooo technically its not a z22se turbo its a z22NET.

so my build will still be different. But not by much

so its back to my build.

Oh and the other thing he said with his build was.......its a se crank but with a net trigger wheel, he put it on off the net crank??

Im not 100% but I never am. That cant be done can it?

So his that Vectra c 2.0 or 2.2 then?

He has a z22net.

So its a z20net with 2.2 internals.

I beleive he will have a YH crank and then he went forged conrods n forged pistons.

Im going the other way where its z22se inside and z20net outside. So mine will be a Z22SET.

so went to the donor today, connected the abs pump up and nothing

well i say nothing..... i got the stereo code in n working(i never knew there was a speaker in the middle of the dash in a c)
and got the cat off that looks in great condition with both sensors still in it.

i need some more loom i beleive..... if that doesnt work i will buy a divorced ecu(only thing i can do)

not good, maybe there is another plug loose or controller missing?

Theres 1 big 1 that goes from the scuttle area(maybe down to the dash) then big plug behind the abs pump and down the side of the fuse box to the headlights I beleive but its not there so im gonna buy that part of loom and try it, if not its another ecu I think
