it should have 3 pipes coming from the boost controller, 2x to the turbo somewhere, another goes onto the pipe from the airbox..

Im just going by how my vxr's controller is setup, or how it looks anyway. I could be wrong and I dont have my car with me right now to take a piccy :-)

Its on hold for a week.
Then have a day or so on it to get the turbo n exhaust manifold off I think.

But my flexi has just gone on my exhaust so I need to sort that aswell. I could do with a stainless 1 being made up but theres nowt off the self I can find so far.

And im gonna have a go at divorcing the ecu soon aswell, but that will probably be after xmas.

So im back on the strip down, im hopeing to have a few hours tomorrow evening and maybe a few hours sunday.

Im hopeing the flexi section on the exhaust is the same and in good condition(im not holding my breath)

Got the turbo off today and more of the loom off n labelled up so I know where its going.

Next job is to divorce the ecu from the car and remove the inlet manifold with ecu etc and remove the rest of the loom and rest of the exhaust.

I have a small issue with the turbos where theres more holes on the new 1 than the old 1 which is abit confusing.

ok so iv been looking at a few pictures to compare between the 2 engines, theres a oil pipe that goes from the turbo to the back of the block on the net engine(not sure if the hole will be there on the se engine

theres the oil pickup for the turbo which i know about to sort in the sump.

also the intercooler pipe mounts to the front of the engine as it runs underneath the sump.

so what im asking is does anyone know if these are there on the se engine. i will circle all the things on the net engine that i think i need on the se.

the 1 under the thermostat is water.

and the 1 on the back of the engine is oil.

the oil feed is there just that its plugged off but the water aint and the z20net thermostat housing dont fit the f23 so as long as you use the f40 you will be fine for water and oil

the plug on the sump is the same oil low warning found on the z22se

z20net sump will fit the z22se but its a 6l sump not 5l

cheers carl but not the black plug its the 2 mountings for the intercooler pipe next to it. but if the sump fits then i can swap them over.

and next question then, what 5 speed box is fitted to a vectra c?
