Notice you mention the clocks Dave. The clocks can just be lifted from one car and put direct into another car, no opcom needed. Its the CIM that has all the coding and imobilisor in, the clocks are just a window if you catch my drift. However the clocks will still show the mileage from the car they came from so i'm not sure what your man means about getting codes from the clocks?

Some rogue sellers just swap lower mileage clocks when they sell the car, but with opcom/tech2 you can get the real milage in KM from the ECU.

Mines sri clocks n the nets sxi clocks that arnt the same n show about 135000 miles so I dont want to swap them over, he said he haf a tool to plug into the clocks to get the security code. But if I can do the unpairing etc with op-com I just need the code from vauxhall. So its a case of getting the code n having a go myself I think. I will practice on the donor car I think hahaha.

It will be good to learn the ins and outs of opcom on something that doesnt matter. I shat myself the first time I used opcom on my car and the lights wouldn't go out and the dash displayed F, something I did it didnt like LOL.

Go into ecu for the engine click reset ecu after entering code then do same on car its going into swap ecus then go body immobiliser and then function cim and ecm i believe it is present its what i did on mine when i swapped my ecus over

LOL no I saw that thread, for some reason I read your post as you got the instructions on youtube via the facebook page. I found a youtube guide on how to activate factory DRL that was easy to follow. I've had mine set to on now for the last few years.

Had a good few hours on the donor vectra today, got all removable panels off, door, boot wings etc.

I know I need to have a oil pickup pipe for the turbo from the sump..... so could I swap the sump off NET engine onto mine? Or am I gonna have to modify mine

Yeh thinking about it he would have had a oil pickup in his b207r sump that he didnt need.

So he should have brand spanking new sump just sat there he doesnt need hahahah

its not in the sump its in the lower girdle and there not changeable as there machined to the block 🙁

simple solution is to drill it ooot and fit a braided hose with a banjo the other end 🙂

Ahhhhh ok so thats something I need to modify.

My other thought is the exhaust, the cat/turbo bit is that the same length as mine

take it off and have a look! would only be a small welding job if not and you have both systems so should be easy enough.

Yeh I know I shoyld be able to sort that bit.

I was trying to figger out what something was that bolted to the side of the engine earlier, turns out its a oil cooler so thats something else hopefully being fitted. I think im just worried about the whole build because its the unknown. So trying to hard to find everything out first.
I want the car off the road for as short a time as possible aswell.

Im hopeing I can bolt everyrhing on and have it mapped within a week but gota save up for the rest first. Im thinking february/march completion

I hope so, I think its wiring im more worried about because of different sensors and this trigger wheel(but that has instructions so that good)

Different coils(4 not 1)

Not sure on the rest like the injectors or owt else

not the rocker wont fit the z22se head but the head will fit you z22se block 🙂
