2/3 options
1 silicone on the gasket to seal the z22se pcv in the middle

2 silicon on the gasket to seal the z22se pcv but with spacer

3 cut the gasket to link the z22se pcv and supercharger inlet (same pcv layout as the z20net)

Is this correct ecu i need to purchase? Does it matter if it came off an astra sri model or do i need to source ecu off a coupe?

That should be fine, but will let Carl or someone confirm, I guess you are just using this to get the car for the SC fitting while yours has a base map on?

I wouldn't have a clue on changing it all over so i want to buy a ecu set and send that for the base map, and swap it all over on install.

Makes sence but you would have to swap the transponder etc aswell but carl will know what hes doing there. So id say if you have 2 keys you will want to buy a ecu and 2 keys if you can(dont hold me to that)

Its the last thing i need to purchase now. Soon i can get an ecu it'll be sent to CS for base map and ive brought forward the install to march. As long all parts arrive and base map sorted.

Im hopeing to be done for march, just a few bits for me aswell, a few gaskets that im hopeing to get ordered this week n find out what size a few banjo bolts are n get a few fittings n bolt it all together. We will have to get togther when we are all running, @[deleted], @[deleted] mine n yours should all be close to completion around similar times (y)

Been looking on ebay for the last 30mins been into all the astra 2.2 ecu kits (transponder, chip, ecu) seems to 3 different part numbers so my head is so battered in i leaving it as its fucking me off and if i just buy one come install i know for a fact i would've got the wrong one

Id say get yours off n check the part number but I know you dont do spanners n I dont thinknyou can see the part number without taking it off.

If it was me I would be using your current ECU for the base map and the new second hand one just for the journey to have the install done, you know the history or your ECU not the second hand one if that makes sense.

I agree with that but that means swapping the transponder chip and ecu and that probably know means paying someone

ive never actually change my ecu so i can't say for sure
i sent my ecu to cs then fitted it to the car before running

i know shane bought a 2nd ecu fitted it with the ring and chip then sent his ecu off then put it back on the day of fitting the charger
