Been out to the coupe this morning to make a start at finding this fault I'm getting. Before anything i took the car for a quick gentle run and the car did cut out after 10mins of driving but started straight back, so the issue is still they and brought the car straight back home.
Now checked the fuel pump is whinning when u first put the ignition on it does great. Checked for new fault codes none found. Let the car tick over till main fan kicks in and car stalls straight away, then starts first turn of key. So going on the thread i found last night I went to swap over the 2 purple relays to see if one of those at fault, but I can't get the relays to come free i see there's a grey plastic kind of clip running through the middle. Does that hold it in place and its a special squezze push pull sequence? I've put a small screw driver under the relay to try tempted it out but dont want to damage it.
So stressed out to the point up all night reading this thread that thread on loads of websites and if its not a relay issue then its an issue with ecu killing the earth feed to the pump relay which in turns kills the engine.
So the sooner i figure out how to get these relays out and swapped over the better.
