So the car finally starts!
Once I had removed the timing chain cover, I could see that the bottom timing guide [plastic guide] was broken.
I purchased a new timing kit, but only used the the timing guide for the one that was broken on mine.
Lined up the cams at 10 and 2.
Put everything back together.
Turned the key and bam, it started first time.
I just wanted to know, my timing was out, how come my engine didn't suffer any internal damage?
Shouldn't the pistons and valves smashed into each other?
