I have just done my first 100 miles took rocker cover off cause i had not used any silicone round gasket and it was leaking a little last night ,so when i removed cover just now to do the work i discovered this was wondering what the cause is @[deleted] .
It did not seem to cause any problems while driving but i think i was lucky to discover this before any serious damage occurred .
Would it be possible to put this back by loosening carrier cap bolts a little to allow it to slip back into place maybe it was not seated properly ,wondering how else this happened
