shaine said it has eaten its 1st belt 🙂 it was an alignment issue on the pulleys hopefully he has sorted it now my 1st belt got eaten pritty quick

I had alignment issues with mine too ,I reckon my supercharger had a whack at some point as it was 2.5 mm out .it chewed 1 rib of the belt pretty quick ,although I did run it for quite some time like that and it never got worse ,even had it rr set up like that too lol

i had not put enough washers behind the pulley so the belt was over the edge wearing a mark in the back of the new belt

Had same problem too. Belt smelled like burning rubber cause SC pulley was not aligned and don't touch enough the alternator pulley.
Have to put 2mm washers behing SC pulley and fit larger pulleys. Finally my belt is 5PK1482, hard to find this lenght !!!

Thanks for the help Carl 🙂 so happy decided to do supercharger conversion now 🙂 belt issue ect all sorted now and running a 5pk1482es belt 🙂
Was where belt wasn't close enough to alternator so was slipping n getting hot in like 30 seconds. After few lil mods ect all sorted n running sweet as a nut now 🙂

Looks great! Where's the cheapest place to get that belt? Found a Gates one for £21.60

find your shortest length with a bit of string and the tensioner full up then go to a local motor factors and get one 🙂
there normally in 10mm steps e.g 5pk 1440-1450-1460 but may be xxx3 have different number on the end
easy to get but you might have to order them in est to get one or two different sizes just incase one is to slack or to tight 🙂
also if you find the size you can look on ebay and see which cars have that size belt fitted then buy one for that car

i get mine from the local motor factors for just over £12 🙂 i have to order them in 2-3days

Charger cooler pump now swapped over and filled up with liquid ready to wiring up for more power 😉
