Astra turning over but won't start - Started other day

So with a massive help from Dave Gilbert .. Finally got the rocker cover off and found something not so nice 🙁

So, How much am I looking at for a fix or even a new engine?

is it all the inlet side ?
normal requirement for repair on all 8 valves bent is
8 new valves
8 new valve guides
head bolts
head gasket
and it looks like you need to replace that 1 broken roller rocker

chain unbroken ?

Chain doesn't look broken, I just took rocker cover off.. took that video & pics and closed bonnet so I can go drowned my sorrows in the pub haha.
Just looking very costly at min, Think best option is a new engine.

just get the head repaired or buy a head to drop on then fit a new main chain 🙂
its not an uncommon thing and i have repaired a head with this damaged before

i have a headset and head bolts here just not the valves or guides
i do have a whole head from my old engine but wanted to sell it as a completed head and keep the bottom end for myself

a replacement engine of unknown condition from ebay would be £400-500

hey buddy im sat here with jacko now. he's just eating his food so asked me to reply. if he was to have it all fixed what would you charge everything supplied and fitted by you (he would transfer you money) if you could do it ?. he obviously would pay parts your time and petrol cost ?. thanks buddy
