Dave_Gilbert just painted 2 of my calipers, i think they make the wheels look better(its all growing on me) just the other 2 wheels n 2 calipers, sand and polish headlights n reseal, fit drivers seat, clean n polish inside n out job done.
Dave_Gilbert there orange but look red on the photos but i think it was a good idea, i think it makes the wheels stand out abit more.
PowR_Remap Ordered my carbon wrapped side trims, bonnet and some wing mirror covers today. Also going to wrap my chrome boot strip in 3m carbon to match the side trims, should look alright. :-)
Dave_Gilbert yeh carbon strip on the boot look nice,dont vectra vxr sometimes have them? i was thinking of doing it on mine but thought its abit dark on a silver car.
milo Well got a more important issue to sort out before PVS:mad: MISFIRE.:cry: When car up to to temp and I'm crusin at 50-60mph I'm getting a missfre for 10-15secs. Happened again today and lasted a little bit longer. Most annoyingly its not kicking on any eml.:confused: Car never misfires when cold, no loss of power when misfire stops, not using loads of petrol. So going to whip out the spark plugs and see the state of them. If they OK I can only think its the coil pack breaking down when up to temp. I hope
milo Just had the car on an hour long drive and no issue whats so ever. So Its got me to think the fuel filter is fucked and blocked with shit prob been a good 15k of mileage since it was last done. I can't seeing it being coil pack as it would do it all the time once its at running temp. Fingers crossed
Dave_Gilbert your probably right, id do plugs n fuel.filter n maybe some redex in the tank just for good measure

Dave_Gilbert oh i mite have to try that stuff then, i watched a 5th gear n they tried a few things n kept putting it on a rolling road to see the hp difference n redex did quite well of about 5hp gain (must have been ditched). nive 1
Dave_Gilbert they did it on an old sheroco i think, most were shit but a new fuel filter n new plugs were ok n redex was the best so id say it was a neglected engine

Sjdickso I was always under the impression any injector dropped the level of octane while it was in the first tank.
