for me it went like this
you have a car thats fine and working to replace that car with a newer car (that means almost brand new) you would have to spend in excess of 15k or more for something thats not got what your current car has a working history
to spend a little money to keep your interest in the car is nothing the car has server you well in its time of ownership and owes you nothing as it was paid for in the 1st 4 years
