Cheap coupe

What are the chances of finding a 2.2 coupe for about £500 or less would be better I don't care for mileage or body condition
I just want the all the looms, abs unit, fuel tank and maybe the lines and various rubbers and bits n pieces.
I'm sick of trying to go a week without some problem and getting all these parts separately will be a pain and more costly.. I need to do something I'm getting wound up ill scrap the poxy thing as it is if I don't sort it soon lol

A hatchback will be okay I think I dunno if the loom to the back is shorter but that's no real problem

Not in the AA? Brother bought a none runner and called the AA and got the car recovered as its the person not the car covered

Hmm I never knew that my nans got AA cover I think but I don't I've found a coupe for £250 and it's a runner just been sat for a while but it's Northampton closer but still nearly an hour drive

I've given up scratching the surface on this van I'm gunna build it again but with the same engine, if I can find a cheap donar car if not I dunno lol

It's illegal to tow a car with no mot or tax unless the front wheels are 6incjrs off the ground I got reported before and just got away with it claiming I was stupid and knew nothing about cars lol

That would so be me with a puzzled and confused look as the fuzz was writing out a ticket lol

Lol I went to court for it they were going to give me 6 points which meant a ban for me lol I just said I had no idea and if I loose my license I would loose my job and got away with just a £175 fine lol

I reckon I got done over by a really strict copper as I have been told since that most police don't really question it but it is technically a driving offence

where are you smithy my mate is breaking a 2.2 coupe ,maybe if your nearby you could come and get what bits you need ,hes very reasonable on prices too

I'm in hertfordshire mate Hemel Hempstead is the local town. I need a fair bit of stuff as I want to remove everything 1.6 and basically replace all the looms ecu keys Etc so its a factory 2.2. At the very Least I need the engine and dashboard looms

Make a list of what you need and ill have a word with him . I'll mention if your prepared to come and take them out yourself he might do it cheaper. Up to weather he strips or you do

Na not yet I nearly had a decent coupe for £250 but someone got there first :-( I wasn't amused lol

I had a nice but of money saved so I was gunna get any cheap coupe but my hedgecutter blew up and wasn't worth fixing so it cost me £735 to replace that but don't you worry I will for sure sort this van out if it's the last thing I do.
I just need a donar car or a job lot of parts then it will be fine then maybe next year I want to sc it :-)
