Dave_Gilbert it was great last year, my first time meeting everyone it was brill we had cake(amazing cake made by corsaz22se's mum if i remember correctly) i brought cans of pop, matt brought bacon n cobs it was brill.
tonks79 Sounds like the place to be, i wanted to go last year when i had my astra g the white one in my picture on here but all the mods were not done and really wanted to go when car was done but sadly someone who was to busy chatting on phone wrote it off so thats why im getting the coupe now.
Dave_Gilbert its madness how many people still.use there phone wile driving when its been allegal since 2002, im teaching my girlfriend to drive in her corsa c sxi and since iv been doing that iv noticed so many people in chesterfield cant drive(when they see a L plate they seam to go silly)
tonks79 Yeah its the same here also its like they forget how to drive when the see the police and they just try to hard and f up.🙂
Dave_Gilbert its like my girlfriend atracks them, idiots in subarus,:LOL: even middle aged women in 7seaters seam to do stupid stuff around us in her car, shes nervous enough without all the idiots.

Seven7Two2 Hi & Welcome Guys, New also, and just purchased an Astra 2.2 convertible. Good to see genuine members here to help. Mine already has an issue which I am not to sure about. Does any body know signs of timing chain going? Noise, Irratinc behavior etc?
tonks79 Welcome to the site pal, If you go on you tube and type in timing chain failure signs ( I think) on astra there is video on there mate. From the info I've read on here its a rattling sound and if you listen down by the drivers wheel arch and see what you here or if you can get a video posted on here of engine sound and sure someone with more experience than me will be able to help you out pal.
