Vectra C 2003 2.2 Direct (Z22YH) - Malfunction with cold engine
Hello everyone. I'm Martijn from the Netherlands and I have a problem with my Opel Vectra C Z22YH engine.
This only occurs when the engine is cold:
Engine start with real cold engine: Vibrating engine at idle, no power at driving, sometimes even shut-down of the engine.
Engine fault codes: P0190, P1112, P1113 & P1555.
When the engine temperature has gone up just slightly and the engine is shut-down and started again, the problem is gone. For example: Ik drove to the garage with an vibrating and hardly responding (to the throttle input) engine, not even 5 minutes from my home. Shut down the engine there, went inside. When I came outside with the mechanic to show the problem, the engine ran like normal.
The engine has no EGR valve installed (blinded and disabled in software).
Oil filter, fuel filter & spark plugs have recently been replaced.
Because they measured a low fuel pressure, the fuel pump & injection regulator have already been replaced, without result.
They now think the timing chain might be faulty (worn tensioner or gear), maybe the engine is off time?
This morning, the temperature was below zero degrees Celsius. Starting the engine resulted in shut-downs. I just tried it a few time at around 11 a.m. and at the third attempt the engine kept running idle. Pushing the throttle resulted in rpm rise, but not further than 2600 / 2700 rpm.
Sorry for my English. Does anyone has an idea what this could be?
Thanks in advance!
