Iv got denso iridiums because I couldnt find ngk iridiums, they have been fine for about 6000 miles.

My car came with Iridiums in when I bought it so they must sell them, I'll check the numbers in them tomorrow

the saab head uses crush washers and the z22se is tapered seat so there not compatible so thats why im not giving the number 🙂

so ive swapped the balancer tensioner for an old one 🙂

Could have cleaned it first, just looks out of place

(LTR6IX-11 is 1 step colder / LTR7IX is 2 steps colder)

I could be talking a load of old 'nonsensby' though. 🙂

you could of at least stripped the insides out of the tensioner first, think of all that extra weight 😃

was never a fan of the denso i have only ever used the platinum ngk plugs

while looking for some parts on the bench today i found a clean one with the cap missing so may use it just because its cleaner

also fitted a nylock nut to the waterpump bodge so it won't come undone

also while rooting around in some box's i found out side today there was a brand new supercharger support bracket and and uncut pump bracket 🙂

the doc said the small piece he could not find and give it a good wash out just to hope it came out but the larger piece came right out and that was the bit that was causing the bother

hey chill it was a planned operation i've had some glass in my hand from the evo crash back in 2004 it stated to play up lots so had it taken out 🙂

so after a road trip to demon tweaks for some retail therapy
i came back with some parts i needed 🙂
new elec water pump with the alloy body and controller

2 x water wetter one for the charge cooler loop and one for the engine coolent loop
also found a bottle of meguiar's hyper wash so had to get it 🙂

and then when i got home there was a brand new z20net thermal gasket waiting for me 🙂

When I was at CS the parts guy made a bee line for me and was so apologetic about the mistake and he insisted he posted out the gasket personally.
