corsaZ22se paint the engine? think they look awful in any thing but raw ally/polished. but its not my car so do what you want. its personality that matters not looks, its whats inside that counts 🙂

corsaZ22se strip the bay out and spray the lot, knowing you, you will only end up doing it all at some point soon! 🙂

evocarlos inlet and exhaust off slight issue with one of the inlet studs the tip snapped off so had to improvise came out in the end next step to get the water you the head and sort the timing out
vocky you should bin those stupid M6 studs and use bolts instead. If you want a better solution then drill and tap the lot to M8 (y)
corsaZ22se like vocky said, bin out the weak m6 fixings and resize to m8. thought you had already done this to be fair?? been 12 minutes sinces vocky's post so maybe you have already
evocarlos not going to m8 no need 🙂 and i want to be able to use the z20net inlet i have at some point i already have m8 to m6 spacers in the supercharger inlet i will be binning the studs not i have a shed full of bolts lol

evocarlos head off 🙂 already sprayed it with degreaser lol you think my exhausts been lecking ? lol
Dave_Gilbert I think.its been leaking hahahaha. Lossing about 2 horses there maybe, what a waste. Hows it look internally? Let me guess NEWish
vocky you cannot use the saab exhaust gasket on the z22se, unless you have no egr port on the exhaust manifold flange - with a 4 -1 tubular manifold you could just weld it up (y)

evocarlos heads stripped and all the bits bagged and tagged 🙂 started to remove the valve guides 🙂 got all of the ex side out now but far too tired to continue lol i reckon machine shop tuesday/wednesday then back thursday/friday rebuild the week end
Dave_Gilbert While its at the shop you wanna crack on with the new manifold(no point refitting the old 1) hahahaha
