yep bit of a ball ache now its all up and running but once the valve are done i can drop the head back on and do the springs at any time

why dont u just collect the parts, then when u have everything do it in 1 hit, you could allways use the spare car fora week or 2.

im trying to but funds don't allow at this time lol just spent £100 on steel stock :S ffs

im just thinking the springs will be easier wile the heads off when u do the valves

n you would be doing that before the remap anyway wouldnt you? so id just wait a few weeks longer n do the lot in 1 hit. im sure you will find something to do inbetween

yes but if i do the springs after it will force me to make that valve spring compressor i been meaning to make 🙂 one that lets you take the valves off while the heads on would be good for people that needed new valve stem seals 🙂 but you are right its easy to do them whole its off

its all to be done before the remap but then theres still loads to do lol

its a good excuse to make the tool but i dont think its a good enough excuse for your job, what if the new springs are alot harder to fit(i cant see why but they might) n u may end up having to strip the top off again(which is just more cost n time). im.sure u know what your doing

had word the valves are at the factory being made just for me 🙂 theres not in stock

there bigger by 1mm 🙂 i could of gone with the supertech nitrided valves but there only 0.5mm

done a good chunk of moving stuff about and got the settee out and burnt but got soaked so came in for a rest
