it might be that your cars are older and the gkm rating is higher
matts will be a higher gkm as its the 2l turbo

Mine is about 3gkm off being in the top tax bracket (same as the Zafira VXR is, even though it's the same engine)

@[deleted] ; off topic question, if I am removing calipers off car to go onto another, should I drain brake fluid prior from the donor or just block it off from coming out?

if the cars is in a position to let the fluid just piss on the floor then just remove them if it needs to stay clean you could plug them or fold the rubber lines and zip tie them
