Not gonna lie, my first car was an automatic. But ever since that, i refuse to get another. Manuals are so much more fun to drive.

It's a real shame you don't have the Astra 2.2 I love my van and this engine to the point where Im thinking of looking for a 3 door 2.2 to race instead of my renault

It wouldn't bother me so much if the United States didn't have that ridiculous 25 year import ban (meaning that we can't legally import any car that wasn't sold here until it reaches 25 years old). A few years ago, the US Government did a crackdown on that law and confiscated every single Nissan Skyline in the country.

My wife has had 2 automatic cars, a SMART fourtwo and a 1.2 Corsa. I managed to get her back into a manual when she got the Fiat 500

Whatt!! I'm pretty sure there's alot of skylines too also that's really crap you can't import a car till it's 25 years old I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure if you got the money you can import any car to this country

There IS a loophole in that law but only if the imported car is driven less than 2500 miles a year. The American average is 12,000 miles per year.

Yeah 2500 isn't enough for a daily but a second car? Then is it worth all that money and effort for a 2.2 Astra which is great dont get me wrong but you could get a whole range of supercharged hemi engined muscle cars that we can't lol

I come from a family of drag racers. My Aunt had a 10 second 427 small block 1984 Chevy Camaro, my brother currently has a 2006 Chrysler 300C with a 5.7L Hemi as his daily driver, My father has a 2011 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3L 325 CI V8, and my cousin owns a drag racing team with a 6 second 1957 Chevy Bel Air. Even my first car was a 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo Z34 with a high output hemi 3.4L DOHC V6. I've quite had enough of muscle cars.

To say I'm sick of muscle cars is an understatement. The 57 chevy was recently retired and replaced with a 1970's Chevy Camaro under the same "Gotham City" nameplate.
