bass84 Well I've bought a bolt removal set today so just going to give that a go. If that looks like it not going to work then I'll have to do the helicoil

If that looks like it not going to work then I'll have to do the helicoil mark the end of the broken bolt with a center punch so you can get the drill in line the hole in the bolt would only need to be 3-4mm deep to get the ez-out to lock
