Afternoon all, first post. Aiming to service my Vectra B soon, she's had quite a hard life (from her previous owners) and is probably in her last year or two. She's quite heavy on oil, there are no obvious leaks I can see, I'll have a good luck underneath when I do the service. Can anyone recommend an oil for a worn engine? Also Haynes states the empty oil capacity as 5l. Is that right?

I was going to use the same rather than buying a separate extension to reach my plugs, will this fit into the block or would I need a thinner bar?
