Vec C intake pipe question

Fitted the Vec C intake pipe and there isn't anywhere for this pipe (circled on the pic) so what can I do? (if anything)

I assume you have fitted the airbox to throttle body pipe? Usually people only change the intake to airbox pipe. I may be wrong and sure someone will correct me but I think it may be the MAF sensor. You could always hacksaw off the male connector off the astra pipe then drill the vec c one so this will fit. Then glue around this to ensure it will not come off. A bit pikey like, but would work

Isn't that the pipe you change for the fpr mod? If your keeping it there then the other end connects to the nozzle on the fuel rail or around that area. If you want to do the fpr mod then the one end goes in the same place and the end that is on the intake pipe goes on the nozzle that has a bung on under the inlet manifold area. You then use the bung you have just took off and put it on the now unused nozzle on the inlet.

This is of course if you haven't already done the mod and the fact your on about what's in the red circle bid not then I've just wasted both our times lol

as said normally just the use of the intake pipe to air box the other pipe to the throttle body is left as is

Aaah so far I've just swapped the standard pipe for a Vec C one I had donated to me!

i think theres been some misunderstanding on the pipe to be fitted 🙂
that pipe pictured above is a vec c pipe but air box to TB
but when we do this mod we only used the front pipe that fits above the radiator to the air box
the reason to change the front pipe is the size and restriction

That's the pipe I was on about mate. Down the side of the inlet manifold you will find two nozzles. 1 should already have a pipe on it and the other will have a bung on it. Just take the bung off and put that pipe in its place. Iirc it gives you a constant 3bar fuel pressure or something like that. I'm sure someone will confirm or correct mate.

Yeah that's the one mate. From what I can make out that's the pipe Chris is talking about because with the new inlet pipe he has it hasn't got the nozzle on it if you know what I mean

but that pipe to the TB is not used in the vec c pipe mod 🙂 so the standard astra/vectra one can go back on giving the FPR feed back
no gain from doing the FPR mod mine just used more go go juice
