2.2 Astra van (Supercharged)

Been a while but done alot to the van lately and this month is very busy.
Miltek exhaust is now fitted, brand new bola b1 wheels with pirelli p7s tyres,
Rear anti roll bar,
Koni strt shocks and eibach springs on the rear still coilovers on the front for now..
It's booked in to he mapped this month then as soon as it's back it's getting stripped for a full respray and all rust to he cut out and new panels put it.
Got a new colour coded rear bumper and a boot spoiler is coming 🙂

It's coming along slowly I've had it machine polished twice and it looks alot better but I'm sick of seeing rust on the arches and sills so rather than doing what I had planned to an engine I've brought I'm getting new sills, arches, rear valance and a small repair to one shock turret then a full outside respray. It's also had a bad repair to the rear quarter before I owned it so my bodyshop guy is going to take any filler out and straighten it with old fashioned panel beating then use as little filler as possible..

Well chuffed tbh 🙂 made good power mark was happy with it how it ran and I've got some pointers on what to do next so all in a good day.
It made 262 on the first run and less torque but in the end it was 261 but the torque went up.
Had to but milo a mcds though as I lost by 6hp lol

My next task is getting it to the bodyshop but I have got another engine now so in time I'm going to forge a z22se rather than b204 as I'd be very happy with 300hp and then properly set up for handling Well.
I'm not into chasing power 300 in a 2 seater van is fast enough for cornering and short straights

Going back to a fault I had a long time ago with my abs computer.
I've got a vectra b 2.2 abs computer on now thanks to corsa z22se.
My abs traction control and esp all work but my speedo doesn't since changing it and I was hoping Courteney could use tech 2 to program it to the car and make the speedo work however after a few attempt tech 2 can't read the computer. Mark at Courteney can only presume there's something different between the vectra and astra computers..
I've ordered an astra 2.2 one so hopefully this will make the speedo work.
Atm everytime I give the van some beans it throws up a speed signal code and makes it idle funny as soon as I clear the code even while running the idle goes perfect again it's really strange..
Anyone else had this?

Yeah I will cheers for that mate..
I've just changed the abs unit and it's no change plus I don't have tc now no light but no tc even though it said it was with tc but that's not really a problem I don't like it anyway. It's the speedo that bothers me..
The original unit I had on the speedo worked but the tc and abs light was always on lol

Scratch that tc does work..
Would the tc work if the hub has failed?

did you get the obd port working you can check the hubs with opcon

Yeah I can use opcom fine I'll have a look..
I've just been out as it's raining so easy to check abs and tc and they both work as they should

you can check to see if speed signal at wheels is correct, all 4 the same. could just be the abs unit is talking a different language to the dash. 01110010 not 11110010. pity Vauxhall don't release the codes for things like this or we could have much more fun without all the head aches.

Yeah I'm going to take it out after work tomorrow with opcom and see what it's saying..
It's either wiring or maybe the hub it's just weird it was fine with the old unit on
