Nice one 🙂 now it's running I need to mount the 2nd coolant bottle and charge cooler then change the entire brake system

I changed the abs computer over and the tc and abs dash lights went straight out so thanks @[deleted] much appreciated 🙂

No not booked in yet I was going to get it to pvs then once that's out the way change the driveshafts and decide on a decent exhaust then map it as it is I think the shafts will snap on the rollers as there so worn.

Some goodies came yesterday got a aluminium strut brace purely for looks and to cover the holes up I got a second belt as a spare the vectra c half shaft and replacement rear calipers and new Brembo discs which do look the part I might have to buy front ones to match tbh I'm still not sure weather to get red stuff pads or another make

are they biggg brakes? If there big enough id just use mintex. Red n green stuff are over priced in my eyes.

U got to get those brembo discs for the front now lol

Red stuff pads are good but you have to keep them warm they are noisey when there cold I've had yellow stuff pads before and there meant for racing so were crap unless they were hot..
I've only got standard gsi set up so good pads would be better I've heard good things about mintex but never used them they sound like an all parts brand to me lol

I use mintex 1144 pads and they are great. not cheap though but 10x the quality of ebc rubbish.
ferrodo also do some good pads. but mintex wins for me. (y)
best to sort exhaust before mapping or you may need a return visit.

I've looked into mintex 1144 pads where did you purchase them from as I'm sick of eBay etc I'd rather get them from a decent company but can't find them on demon tweeks for the astra

think it was LMF? who ever it was had to get them in special. would have thought they would be the same pads up front as mine?
what size exhaust you going for? custom made or will it be of the shelf?
im going to get infinity exhausts to have a look at mine and see if they can make a 3" system but make it a bit quieter?

I contact them and see what they say I've got nearly new gm pads on there atm so I might Wear them out abit first and get mintex all round next month..

Exhaust wise I want a 200 cell sports cat and was thinking 2.5in cat back most on the shelf ones I've seen are 2.25 so I might give r tech a call in St Albans and see what they can do but that will be after pvs now.. I need to slow my spending abit as house prices have gone up abit around here and I want to get a garage and drive so most my money is going in the bank atm
The bodywork is getting tatty now too so I need to think about tidying that up also but that comes after mechanical parts tbh
