if you have opcom or some other reader you should be able to connect and see the if cts is working ok.
start with a cold engine then start up and see if the reading changes. simple test to rule out cts fault.

Well the van passed it's mot the rear brakes are horrendous but I knew that I need new calipers..
I'm taking it over to my dad's Monday night to make sure it fits in his garage if it does which sure it will that's going to be it's home for a while and the ecu will be coming off to be sent away but before I do that I will plug it into opcom and have a look..

I have everything for the supercharger conversion apart from hose and coolant bottle a second pulley and the map.
It also needs rear brakes as one of the calipers is fucked tbh and both driveshafts have a bit of play so ill change them as I want to hammer it lol
I'm literally so close to buying my first 3 bedroom house with my own drive and possibly garage so as much as I want to buy smaller pulleys and forged parts for now I'm keeping it as it is even if I loose my bet @[deleted] 🙂 so right now ill get it running with what I have then once I've found a house ill go from there

I've plugged opcom in and it's saying engine coolant temperature circuit high input and the clutch switch is permanently active so the cruise control isn't working I'm not sure about the cruise as it's all plugged In okay my worry is how to sort the coolant circuit out

my earth lead on the battery is getting hot also so there must be a bad earth there or the cable has had it..

not sure on the astra but the corsa clutch switch is adjustable so yours may just need that, check earths and maybe replace ctsensor.
did you still want the Vectra b abs unit?

I'll take a look at the clutch switch in the daytime..
I put a new cts sensor on a month ago I've been told it will either a bare or dodgy wire causing it or the coolant module has failed but via opcom the coolant module seems fine and once it's at temperature it kicks the fan in so it looks like I may have to take the dash back put and start checking the loom over 🙁 not that hard of a job but bloody annoying lol

Had an issue with my clutch switch after removing the dash I had to bend the bracket to make it work right opcom showed the switch was not functioning as it shop of

Ah okay ill have a look at that opcom says it's active constantly so obviously the cruise control doesn't work..

The van has got it's new home for a while now so I can start pulling it apart and fit the charger 🙂 I've decided I'm removing the air con so I don't need a second pulley or space the ac pump my daily car has aircon the van is now my toy I won't really be using it for work anymore as I'll find myself a bigger van if the Renault can't cope..
My dad only got the keys to the house a week ago and I've already stole the garage 🙂

Picked up another abs unit today thanks to @[deleted] hopefully this will sort out my traction control problem.
I'm going to order some new lucas rear calipers then I've got a whole new brake system 🙂
I'm going to start pulling the van apart Tuesday including removing the air con..

Little update I've stripped most of it I got hungry so came home to get food but got a couple of hours in..
Removed the manifold fuel rail and injectors
All the aircon crap apart from the condenser and fan battery etc it was easy so far tbh

I dunno about that but I've never done a supercharger or turbo conversion before I've done a lot of different things but this is new to me so I'm learning a lot from everyone as I go.. Thank god for this forum lol

Bolting it together was easy tbh only fiddly but was working out the charge cooler piping route as space is tight
